Overview

The TRiPEAK Twist-Fit Press Fit Bottom Bracket is engineered for riders who want a secure, creak-free alternative to traditional press-fit installations. Rather than relying on a straight press alone, TRiPEAK's patented Twist-Fit system combines a standard press-in step on the non-drive side with a twist-lock step on the drive side — spinning the cup until zero gap remains between the BB set and the frame shell. The result is a mechanically locked bearing cup that resists the loosening and creaking that plague conventional press-fit brackets. Compatible with Road and MTB frames running BB86, BB92, BB30, or PF30 shell standards, and designed specifically for 24mm Shimano spindles. Compatible brands include Shimano (Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105, Tiagra, GRX), FSA, ROTOR, and RaceFace cranks with a 24mm spindle diameter.

Twist-Fit Installation Method

Installation is a two-step process as shown in the included guide:

• Step 1 – Press In (Non-Drive Side): Apply grease to the non-drive cup and press into the frame, noting the directionality of the Snug Ring.
• Step 2 – Twist-Lock (Drive Side): Apply grease to the drive-side cup and Snug Ring, then twist the cup until no space remains between the BB set and the bike frame.

Tools required for installation: bike grease, a spacer (if shell width falls short), and a bottom bracket cup wrench. These are not included.
