Overview
This is an AUQDD front lower control arm and ball joint suspension kit designed for BMW 128i, 135i, 323i, 328i, and 335i models from 2006 to 2013. The full kit is a 6-piece set covering the E82, E88, E90, E91, E92, and E93 platform chassis — some of the most popular BMW platforms on the road. This open-box listing represents a significant saving off the $119.99 MSRP, and the included pieces are in pristine, uninstalled condition.
As shown in the photo, the kit includes cast aluminum front lower control arms with integrated rubber bushings at the inner pivot end and ball joint assemblies at the outer end. Sway bar end links with threaded ball-stud ends are also part of the full set. Locking nuts are included for secure installation. The aluminum construction reduces unsprung weight compared to steel OEM components, contributing to sharper steering response and improved ride quality. Each control arm is side-specific and stamped for easy left/right identification during installation.
The front lower control arm is a critical suspension component connecting the steering knuckle to the vehicle subframe. Worn arms and ball joints cause clunking over bumps, steering pull, and uneven tire wear. Replacing them restores factory suspension geometry and the precise handling BMW's E-series chassis is known for. The sealed rubber ball joint boots block contamination and extend service life. Always perform a four-wheel alignment after replacing suspension components.
